It's a beautiful state park with lots of hiking trails and very clean camping. There is an olympic size swimming pool for the campers also. It's just an awesome state park and I recommend it to anyone who camps. We walked the hiking trails for seven hours on Saturday, and had sore legs the next day. We had a GREAT time with Matt and Cindy, and would love to go there again sometime.

Aunt Lisa!! Have we ever been there??/!! Are you kidding me?? That's litterally 10 minutes from Matt's house! You guys drove through Crawfordsville I bet, and then Waveland (where Matt's house is and his mom lives). That's where Matt and I went on our first real date. Oh, we have been there many times! I can't believe you guys went there! And when we're not there! I'm so bummed it wasn't while we were still in Indiana. But I'm glad you had a great time, and that you went on trail 3! That is the best trail by far.
So if we move back to IN, you guys will have to come back!
Lisa! I have been to Turkey run MORE times than bethany! First of all: I have pictures of Charlie and I there on our honeymoon! We walked the trails (# 3, the best!) and went horse riding while visiting Matt and Bethany! ALSO: I went there evry year for about 10 yearsor more because the Midwest Calvary Chapel conference was held about a mile away. Mom even went canoeing there once when she was at conference with us.
So, yeah, Turkey Run is an old family tradition. Glad you could get in on it!!
Wow!!! That looks like an awesome place to camp! Those trails are so cool! I'm sad that I wasn't there...but it looks like you had a ton of fun. We will have to go there sometime before I go to Europe :)
That campground is amazing and looks like a blast. I never heard of it either.. but I do remember seeing pictures of Bethany and Matt on trails like that now that I think of it..
Maybe that's a good family get together spot?? A long drive but with a pool and everything..mmmmmm

Now, hold on -- you guys think YOU have been there a lot of times! For TEN YEARS I pretended to live out in San Diego when in reality I was living in THAT EXACT SAME CAVE where you took the picture!! This is TOO MUCH, I can't believe you went there without me.
Sorry, I just wanted in on all the fun. Actually, I don't think I've been there, but I have enjoyed some great hiking paths in Missouri and New Jersey, and we have a nice park near us here in Virginia.
And by the way, I thought it was very Lisa-like (and Cheryl and Bethany-like) that you described it as "very clean camping"! Did anyone NOT laugh out loud at that?
